Love Deadline: Where they are now

Nona and Kei

Konona “Nona” Shiba and Keisuke “Kei” Hashimoto are the only couple who got engaged during the show. The two even renewed their engagement once filming had wrapped, and moved in together.

The happy couple have lived together for over three months and are enjoying looking after their pet cat. Although their ride on Love Deadline was not easy, they always gravitated back to one another!

Takayuki and Saki

Takayuki Toda and Saki Kamata had a lot in common. By the end of Episode 5, Taka’s time on the trip comes to an end, leading the girls to decide who wants to propose to him.

However, when Saki chose him, he rejected her as he wasn’t sure if he wanted to marry her. It comes even after he expressed his desire to marry her just a day before.

Now, Takayuki is a proud cosmetic surgeon, and used to be the Director of Shinjuku Ebisu but is now a part of River Clinic, which opened in September 2023! Saki, however, is a thriving yoga instructor.

Okapi

Okapi still works as a model and actor after announcing his departure. Additionally, he serves as an event manager, and has been speaking highly of his newfound Netflix fame.

He only found a connection with Nona, so when she proposed to Kei, he was out of there!

Anna

Anna works for a foreign IT company. The now 29-year-old is quite fond of traveling, having enjoyed a trip to Hawaii in December, just a month before the show came out.

She’s often seen chilling out with her three-year-old service dog Milo… and he’s so cute!

Fumi

Fumi reached the show finale but announced that he would be leaving the show due to his job and other commitments he had to go back to. Since leaving, he’s remained a gynaecologist and turned 28!

Yushi

Yushi Sugimoto is still a bodybuilder! He even won the national bodybuilding competition held in 2019 by the World Fitness Federation (WWF) and the National Amateur Body-Builders’ Association (NABBA).

He got to know both Anna and Saki on the show before the latter got closer to Takayuki. But since leaving the series, Yushi has focused on his modelling, including posing with Calvin Klein boxers on.

Sora

Sora arrived as the shock bombshell halfway through Love Deadline. Now, she’s enjoying her new-found fame as a live streamer, despite remaining single after the show.

Keijero

Keijero was developing a bond with Shizuka until he realised he didn’t want to marry her. Since leaving, the CEO of fitness firm Stance Group has remained dedicated to his fitness modelling instead.

He may not have found a wife but he certainly made the most of his travels, as he visited Philippines in December 2023, followed by going the USA from New York to Los Angeles, California.

Shizuka

Shizuka posted a photo of her bottom on Instagram to “let Keijiro and Okapi know what they’re missing,” fans speculated on Reddit. She appears to be single but has met up with her female co-stars since filming.

Otherwise, she’s keeping herself occupied with her own spa business.

Sayu

Sayu is a 29-year-old nurse and the proud owner of Bénémi Beauty Salon. So although she didn’t find a man to propose to, she is pretty focused on her own business for now.

She has also been a part of Shuffle Island season 2, Shukan Sanma to Matsuko and Matsuko in the Room. Additionally, she is active as a model and a food content creator, with even more fans since the show.

Yuta

Yuta has continued his work as a successful soccer player. He has remained friends with his male co-stars and even attended the Society Awards Ceremony for his soccer team.

Fuku

Fuku has found new heights of fame in his career, such as writing an Amazon best-seller book about the benefits of muscle building and the financial gain to be found through it.

He is also a business expert who works in real estate management, given that he takes care of several villas in Hawaii, as well as a producer and host for musical festivals.

Kiichiro

Kiichiro is a dedicated pharmacist and model who appears to still be single. Since filming wrapped, he has been posing topless with some of his Love Deadline brothers!
